Ottawa Carleton Assembly of School Councils (OCASC)
OCASC is an umbrella organization for school councils and parents in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) to share share ideas, discuss current events and build community.

Parent Involvement Committee (PIC)
The PIC promotes parent engagement and collaborates with the board to support student achievement and well-being. PIC provides resources and support to parents and School Councils.

Parent Resource Library
Parent resource books are available for checkout by Lakeview parents. Topics range from cooking to ADHD to literacy. To check out a book, either visit the school library or send a note to school with your child with the title, author, and call number.
Lakeview School and OCDSB
- OCDSB Extended Day Program: The Extended Day Program provides parents of students in the kindergarten program to age twelve (end of grade 6) with access to before and after school programs. The programs are led by registered Early Childhood Educators who deliver the Ministry of Education’s Extended Day Program curriculum which includes recreational and social opportunities for children. Students will also have the opportunity to work on homework if need be and to participate in a variety of group and individual activities. If you are interested in the EDP program at Lakeview, please contact the school principal.
